Care Instructions
Treat your Printie like a tiny friend. They're tougher than they look, but they prefer the indoor life.
Daily care
- Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Skip the soap, definitely skip solvents.
- Keep out of direct sun. Sustained UV will fade colours over time.
- Stay below 60°C. PLA softens in heat — don't leave them in a hot car or near a heater.
What to avoid
- Dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, freezers
- Acetone, alcohol, harsh cleaners
- Long submersion in water
- Chewing (sorry, dogs)
If something breaks
A small dab of super glue works fine on PLA. For bigger fixes, email us a photo at hello@printies.au — we may be able to reprint at a discount.
End of life
PLA is plant-based and biodegradable in industrial composting facilities. If your Printie's time has come, please don't bin it — drop it back to us and we'll grind it down and reprint.
